Refund and cancellation
What happens if you want to stop, and when money comes back.

CTH membership is a six-month term giving access to a digital environment. Access begins immediately once membership starts.
That timing matters for refunds, and this page explains why.
The refund window
You may request a full refund within REFUND WINDOW, e.g. 14 days of your membership starting, provided you have not CONDITION, e.g. completed more than two lessons or downloaded material.
After that window the membership fee is non-refundable, because the material has been made available to you and cannot be returned.
To request a refund, write to CONTACT EMAIL from the email address on your account. We will confirm within RESPONSE TIME, e.g. 5 business days.
Digital content and your right to withdraw
Where consumer law gives you a right to withdraw from a distance contract, that right normally ends once you have been given access to digital content and you have agreed to immediate access.
When you start your membership you are asking for immediate access to the CTH environment, and you acknowledge that doing so may end your statutory right of withdrawal.
Nothing in this policy removes a right you have under the consumer law that applies where you live. Where that law gives you more than this policy does, that law wins.
Cancelling
You can close your account at any time. There is no notice period and nothing to cancel to stop a future charge, because membership does not renew automatically.
Closing your account ends your access immediately. It does not create a refund for the remaining part of a term outside the refund window.
If you would like your data before you go, ask us first. Once an account is deleted, the journal entries and progress attached to it are deleted too.
Payment in cryptocurrency
Membership is intended to be payable in cryptocurrency.
Crypto payments are irreversible. There is no chargeback, and a transaction cannot be reversed by us or by anyone else once it is confirmed on-chain.
Any refund we approve is therefore sent as a new transaction, to a wallet address you give us, in the asset we agree. Network fees are deducted from the amount refunded.
Because crypto prices move, a refund is calculated on REFUND BASIS, e.g. the fiat value at the time of payment. We are not responsible for a change in the value of the asset between payment and refund.
Send payment only to an address published on this site or given to you directly by us through your account. We will never ask you to send funds by direct message.
If we end your membership
If we close your account for breaching the terms - sharing credentials or redistributing material, for example - no refund is due.
If we discontinue CTH entirely during your active term, we will refund the unused part of your membership on a pro-rata basis.
